29th April 2003 McCormicks Spring Open over the weekend saw some of the best tournament waterskiing in years. Mapple after a shaky start is back at the top with a good 6 buoys ahead of anyone else scoring 3@10.25m. Mens jump saw 4 skiers jump 67m+ Freddy Krueger on form from the start with 70.8m (232ft) how many times is the record going to fall this year!! Second was Scot Ellis with 69.2m (227ft) and then Ryan Dodds 68.1m and Sebastien Dipasqua with 67m. Also up for a mention at the event is Bill Wenner from Mens 8 scoring 1@16m. Well done Bill. Click here for full results. 14th April 2003 Sunset Lakes Spring Open last weekend saw some quality skiing with Andy Mapple scoring 1@ 10.25 showing he still has the edge. Marina Mosti took the ladies slalom with 3@ 11.25m and Brenda Baldwin continued her hold on the Queen of the jump with 47.3m (155 feet). Click here for full results. 9th April 2003 McCormicks Spring warm up last weekend produced some results we are normally used to during mid season. 48.1m (158 feet) in jump for Brenda Baldwin and 64.3m (211 feet) for Scot Ellis. Ty Oppelander proves one to watch scoring 1@ 10.25m and Natalie Hamrick continuing last seasons form with consistency over the 2 rounds scoring 1@ 10.75m and 2@ 10.75m.
