30th April 2000 Has anybody got any thoughts about the new slalom gates rule? It looks like you can ski outside the gate as long as you touch a buoy. Have any skiers been outside and been given the gates yet???

29th April 2000 The Rooye Plas Masters 2000 will be held on 12 & 13 August this year. The events planned are Slalom, Jump and wakeboard. Visit their web site

25th April 2000 Emma Sheers Jump of 51.4m (169 feet) has today been confirmed by IWSF Tournament Council as a new world record.

24th April 2000 A new date for the Word Cup has been anounced, 4th and 5th July at Recetto in Italy.

19th April 2000 As the ski season is getting under way I thought I would take the opportunity to let you know that the where to ski page is still open for submissions. All you have to do is email us with the details or enter the URL on the "where to ski" page.

18th April 2000 We have been asked to publish details of the World Junior Championships 2000 which this year are being held at Lake Stratos, Agrinio in Greece on September 7th -10th. The organisers have a web site up and running, full of all the info you need.

10th April 2000 Emma Sheers continues to show that soon the girls will break the 200 mark with a new pending world record set at Jack Travers over the week end with 51.4m, 169 feet in old money.

3rd April 2000 The US Pro Tour now moves on to Orlando in Florida for the 15/16 April. Keep up to date with the skiing on the ProWaterSkiTour web site.

2nd April 2000 Freddy, King of Flying, wins the head to head against Bruce Neville with a new World Ski Flying Record of 286ft. Mapple wins the slalom with 1.25 @ 41 off. See all the results, including the wakeboard tour on the ProWaterSkiTour web site.

2nd April 2000 US Pro Tour is under way in Fort Lauderdale. Freddy leads the ski flying after the semi final with 279 ft and Andy Mapple leads the slalom going into the semi finals. See all the scores on the ProWaterSkiTour web site.
