5.05 Team Scoring at the EAME (Open) Championships
There shall be no team scoring during the EAME Individual Championships.
A separate TEAM competition will be held during the Championships where the top 10 placed country teams from the 2000 EAME Championships will compete over one round for the team trophy under the basic rules of the European Cup as follows:-
- A Federation Team shall consist of a maximum of 4 skiers (at least one of which must be of a different sex). A maximum of 3 skiers shall compete in each event (at least one of which must be of a different sex). These may be the same or different skiers out of the 4 in each event of each round. The names of the skiers shall be handed by the Team Representative or his alternate to the Chief Judge at least 12 hours before the start time of the competition.
- The order in which the teams will ski will be the reverse order of the Overall Team placement from the EAME Championships of 2000 and this order will apply to all 3 events except for the jump event as described above.
- The order in which the three team skiers ski in each round of Slalom and Tricks may be decided by the Team Representative. The Team Representative will notify the Jetty Marshall of the name of his next skier one skier in advance. For the Jump event the same rule applies, except that the Team Representative must notify the Chief Judge, prior to the start of the Jump event, how many skiers he has at each ramp height, to allow the Team start order to be maintained correctly.
- The overall points of all 3 skiers in all 3 events will be added to determine Team placement.
The entry form to submit the names of your TEAM skiers is enclosed.
