30th July 2001 The Catalina Water Ski Race took place on Saturday July 28th in Long Beach, California and the results are now available on the event web site. Overall Winners were Todd Haig and Tracey Graziano.

29th July 2001 The US Pro Tour Abbotsford. Andy Mapple wins the US Pro Tour series as Chris Parrish takes his first victory at Abbotsford scoring 2 @ 10.25m (41 off)

Freddy Krueger wins the ski flying with a massive leap of 282ft (85.9m) just in front of Jaret Llewellyn with 273ft (83.2m)

29th July 2001 The European Championships from Hazelwoods Ski World. Well if you havent been visiting the EAME Championships web site, then you have missed out big time!!
Elena Milakova broke the World overall record during the team event and then again during the individual final. This included a new world jump record of 55.1m (181 feet).
This hands both jump records to MALIBU who also pulled Jimmys record.

29th July 2001 The US Pro Tour Abbotsford. Andy Mapple leads the Mens slalom with 1 @ 10.25m (41 off)and in the ladies Kristi Overton Johnson leads with 1 @ 10.75m.
In the ski flying Freddy Krueger leads with 272 feet from Jaret Llewellyn 259 feet and Bruce Neville with 248 feet.

26th July 2001 Abbotsford is the venue for the 7th Pro Tour this week end with ladies and Mens Slalom and Mens Ski Flying. The event starts on Friday.

25th July 2001 The European Championships from Hazelwoods Ski World in the UK. Great Britain win from Belarus and Italy. GB assisted by the longest jump of the day from Jason Seels with 64.7m. Full results on the official web site.

25th July 2001 The European Championships from Hazelwoods Ski World in the UK. Team event starts today and already Elena Milakova sets a new world overall record with 2688.5 points. 3.5 @ 12m, 7380 points in tricks and 52.5m jump. All pulled behind a Malibu.

22nd July 2001 Glenn Campbell add the British Title to his European Slalom Title by scoring 2.5 @ 10.75.

21st July 2001 European Slalom Champion Glenn Campbell puts himself last off the dock in the British Nationals final with a 1st round score of 1 @ 10.25m ahead of Jodi Fisher with 3 @ 10.75m

Current points leader in the Pro Tour jump, Jason Seels leads the Jump with a first round score of 61.8m (203 ft)

18th July 2001 NOW ITS OFFICIAL !! The Tournament World Championships will be held at Recetto in Italy from Sept 17th to the 23rd. This has now been announced by the IWSF. Full update soon.

14th July 2001 The British Open, Jenifer Leachman wins the head to head and collects 1000. Elena Milakova wins the overall ladies Open title and Jaret Llewellyn the mens. Top slalom score of the day goes to William Asher with 5 @ 10.75m Final results.

8th July 2001 The French Masters, Lacanau. Glenn Campbell wins the slalom with 2 @ 10.25m (41 off) and Jaret Llewellyn posted the longest jump with 63m (207 ft). Final results. Event report.

7th July 2001 The French Masters. Nicolas Le Forestier has done it. After loads of trick runs touching on the 12,000 mark he has set a new World Trick record scoring 12,220 points.

5th July 2001 The Bavarian International Qualification from Amberg in Germany. Full Results

3rd July 2001 The McCormick International. Elena Milakova pushes the Ladies overall world record further with 2683 points. This was with scores of 2 @ 12m in slalom, 7320 points in tricks and with a 53.3m jump.

2nd July 2001 Sammy Duvall Record Event saw Chris Parish win the slalom event with a best round score of 4.5 @ 10.25m (41 off) ahead of Peter Chase with 1 @ 10.25m. Ladies slalom went to Karen Truelove scoring 1.5 @ 10.75 (39 off) in all 3 rounds.

1st July 2001 The Bavarian International Qualification from Amberg in Germany. News just in that Jochem Luers from Germany has just broken the European jump record scoring 67.6m (222 ft). Full results on Monday.
