Germany, The Boesch Cup for the under 21 from Bourg-en-Bresse, the Coppa Italia and the US Pro Tour
from High Point. This pro tour event is wakeboard only.

The EAME top-ADB event at Arc sur Tille in France last weekend saw a couple of quality trick scores from
Frederique Savin with 6780 points and Nicolas Le Forestier with two rounds scoring 11720 and 11570.

US Pro Tour Indianapolis. How about this for exciting slalom skiing! Mens final saw Jamie Beauchesne
and Andy Mapple both score 3 @ 10.25m (41 off) for a tie on the lead. The run off started at 10.75m
(39 off) which both ran. Jamie Beauchesne first scoring 2 on the 10.25m line length and then for the
first time for ages Mapple is beaten scoring 1.5 buoys.
Back on form in ladies slalom was Kristi Overton Johnson scoring 1 @ 10.75m (39 off) ahead of
Natalie Hamrick and Jill Knutson both scoring 5 @ 11m (38 off)
In the Men Wakeboard Finals Parks Bonifay finished just ahead of Daniel Watkins.

Yesterday the IWSF were to announce the future of this years World Tournament Championships.
As mentioned on the message board they ARE talking to a European federation. The IWSF have now
stated the announcement on the event will be on June 27th.

This weekend most of the top skiers make their way to Indianapolis for the next stop of the US Pro
Tour, back in europe there are two events, the MasterCraft British Tour from Town Loch in Scotland
and the Recetto International in Italy.

US Pro Tour Detroit. Unbeatable Andy Mapple scores 4 @ 10.75m (39 off) to maintain his dominance
in pro skiing. In a close final Jamie Beauchesne was 2nd ahead of Chris Parrish scoring 325 and
2 on the same line length.
Ladies slalom saw a return to her year 2000 form for Kristi Overton Johnson winning with 3 @ 11m
(38 off) pushing Jill Knutson (2.5 @ 11m) into 2nd and Natalie Hamrick (2 @ 11m) into 3rd.
Mens ski flying had a first win of the tour to Freddy Krueger 79.2m (260 ft) with Jason Seels
77.1m (253 ft) in 2nd and in 3rd Ryan Fitts 76.5m (251 ft)

Mastercraft British Tour. Saturdays event saw rain all day but provided some quality results from
one of the best water ski site in the UK, Gosfiel Lake. Slalom saw European Champion Glenn Campbell
Winning the slalom event with 2.5 @ 10.75m (39 off) ahead of Will Asher scoring 1.5 @ 10.75.
7800 from Chris Shaw took the mens tricks and completing the double, Will Asher won the jump event with
50.5m. All these scores posted during constant rain!

US Pro Tour. Jamie Beauchesne tops the Detroit semi finals with 1 @ 10.25m (41 off) ahead of Jason
Paredes with 1/2 a buoy. Mapple made the final in 6th place.
Ladies slalom saw Natalie Hamrick maintain her current form scoring 4 @ 11m
(38 off) ahead of Karen Truelove with 4 buoys.

Mastercraft British Tour. The first stop of the British Tour went to Tallington Lakes with Marie Toms
taking first spot in slalom and jump with 3 @ 12m (35 off) and 37.8m. Glenn Campbell scoring 3.5 @ 10.75m
won the slalom with Damien Sharman jumping 56.5m.

This week ends main events are the Vienna Slalom Cup from Raasdorf in Austria and the first round of
the MasterCraft British Tour from Tallington Lakes. Up dates through the week end.

The Overton’s U.S. Open Water Ski & Wakeboard Championships.
Freddy Krueger is the Open champion with a best jump of 60m (197 ft) in the jump final with Toni
Neville taking the ladies title with 49.1m (161 ft)
A clean sweep by USA in the wakeboard final with Emily Copeland taking first spot ahead of Tara Hamilton
and Maeghan Major. In the mens final it was a close battle for 2nd place between Rob Struharik (2nd) and
Eric Ruck (3rd). Darin Shapiro the clear winner taking top slot in all rounds.

Emma Sheers is the Open slalom champion scoring 2.5 @ 11m (38 off) in a close battle just beating
Toni Neville with 2 buoys and Kristi Overton Johnson with 1.5
Mens slalom went according to
plan for Andy Mapple who knew he had to beat 5.5 @ 10.75m (39 off) set by Chris Parrish to win. Andy
rode the pressure to run the 10.75m pass and score 1 @ 10.25m to break his US Open string of bad luck.
Jamie Beauchesne was left with 3rd place after rounding 4 @ 10.75m.
In the trick event Cory Pickos scored 11 150 with Regina Jaquess winning the ladies event with 6 950.

The Overton’s U.S. Open Water Ski & Wakeboard Championships.
Stunning trick score from Patrice Martin in the semi finals of 11 790 points. Mapple back on top in
slalom with 1 @ 10.25m (41 off) ahead of Chris Parrish with a half buoy at the same line length.
In the overall Regina Jaquess leads Marina Mosti and in the mens Patrice Martin leads Scott Smith
and Thomas Asher.

The Overton’s U.S. Open Water Ski & Wakeboard Championships.
Difficult conditions in the jumping event saw reduced distances, but it still remained close with
Elena Milakova scoring 48.8m (160 ft) in front of Toni Neville with 47.9m (157 ft).
In the mens jumping Freddy Krueger leads the pack going into the semi finals with 58.5m (192 ft)
just pushing Sebastien Di Pasqua and Christophe Duverge out of top spot, both scoring 57.9m (190 ft)

Regina Jaquess in first place going into both the slalom and trick final with 3 @ 11.m (38 off)
jointly with Karen Truelove and 6,660 points ahead of Britt Larsen-Kovak.
Jamie Beauchesne leads the mens slalom rounding 1 buoy on the 10.75m line (41 off) in front of
Andy Mapple scoring 3.5 @ 10.75m (39 off)
Mens tricks saw Russell Gay with 11,420 leading
Patrice Martin 10,720 and Nicolas Le Forestier 10,240.
