Today the official web site for the 2004 Water ski World Cup is
launched with the 5 stops and only the GB stop still to be confirmed. They are Dubna/Russia 24-25 July, Thorpe Park/GBR 3-4
September, Changshu/China 2-3 October, West Palm Beach/USA 8-10 October and Doha/Qatar 26-27 November.

The European Senior Championships at Moissac in France will now be a combined event with the World Senior Trophy. Saves everybody money in travelling I suppose!

Starting on the 7th April we have the Pan American Championships
from Peru. High quality action with world champions in the line up.
From USA we have Jimmy Simmers and Freddy Kruger with Javier
Julio from Argentina.

The full schedule for the 2004 Word Cup
has been announced by the IWSF.
Sponsored by MasterCraft the series will take in 7 stop starting with
wakeboarding in France. It looks like there will be 5 stops for 3 event tournament.

British Skiers dominate the Slalom finals at the Pro-Am from
Lake Crichton, Christchurch in New Zealand. Mapple wins with 2 @ 41 off (10.25m) from Jodi Fisher and Jeremy Newby-Ricci.
Mapple also won the slalom head to head with 4.5 @ 39 off (10.75m).
The jump final also showed that the pros are in top condition with Scot Ellis scoring 69.0 meters (226 feet) ahead of Mark Lane
on 65.8 meters (216 feet). Scot also won the head to head.
