25th March 2005 Latin American Championships from Peru. Javier Julio is leading the trick event after the first round scoring 10,270 points and the slalom leader is Fernando Neves from Brazil scoring 2.25 @ 10.75m. Click here for a list of all the results after the first day.

25th March 2005 The funeral services will be held today for Walter O Meloon, former president of Correct Craft who died on Monday at his home in Orlando. He was 89.

24th March 2005 Under way over this weekend are the Latin American Championships from Peru. Updates throughout the event here.

14th March 2005 2005 Moomba Masters Finals. Jaret picks up the trick title but misses out on the jump win.

10 740 points in the final as Nic Le Foristier crashes out again scoring 6170. Javier Julio and Ryan Green stood on the podium with Jaret.
Marcus Brown takes the mens slalom with 1.00 @ 10.75 in the final from Steve Cockeram scoring the same, but loosing out on the count back. Jodi Fisher in third.

The jump finished Krueger, Llewellyn and Ellis with Freddys best jump 67.0m

Two girls set to dominate this year, Emma Sheers again who took the jump and slalom title. In tricks and overall Angeliki Andriopoulou. Emmas jump in the final was 53.1m (174ft)

13th March 2005 2005 Moomba Masters. The Mens trick event was completed this morning with only the top 3 scoring over 10k.

Nicholas LeForestier 10870 Jaret Llewellyn 10460 and Joel Wing 10390.

The ladies jump saw Clementine Lucine jump herself into 2nd place with 48.4m after the second round with Emma still leading and in the mens event, its Freddy Krueger with 76.3m (221ft) from Scot Ellis and Jaret Llewellyn.

12th March 2005 2005 Moomba Masters. A change around at the top in mens slalom after round 2 with Marcus Brown occupying first place as the only one to complete the 11.25m line and score 1.00 @ 10.75, Steve Cockeram is now in second place.

Clementine Lucine leads ladies tricks with 7069. The mens trick event was cut short and will be finished tomorrow.


11th March 2005 2005 Moomba Masters. First day of the main event saw less than ideal conditions for mens slalom with the first round leader being Terry Winter with 5.00 @ 11.25m from Jason Seels with 4 buoys and Jodi with 3.

Ladies slalom saw Emma Sheers scoring 4.50 @ 11.25 from Sarah Gatty Saunt with 1.50 Buoys and Clementine Lucine with 4.00 @ 12m and in ladies jump top, the 3 were Emma 51.1m from June Fladborg and Kelly Bowen both scoring 48.4m.

The men had two rounds today, the 1st round and the night jump. Jaret just missed out on the night jump to Curtis Sheers with 61.5m and in the 1st round of the main event, as expected, Freddy Krueger leads the field with 68.3m (224ft) from Jaret 67.3m and Jason 63.6m

Saturdays events include the Men's tricks elimination 1st round, Women's Jump Semi Final, 2nd round and the Men's Jump Semi Final, 2nd round.


10th March 2005 2005 Moomba Masters. The first nigh jump of the Masters took place last night with June Fladborg winning the final with 47.1m from Karissa Wedd with 43.1m

Friday starts with the Slalom and jump elimination rounds and the first of the mens night jump.


9th March 2005 2005 Junior Moomba Masters. Junior event finished with Thibaut Dailland from France and Karina Nowlan from Australia wining the overall titles.

9th March 2005 Melbourne's Yarra River will host the 2005 Moomba Masters, which starts today with the junior event.

The biggest line up of pro skiers seen for a long time will compete for over 100,000 Aus Dollars.


8th March 2005 The 2005 Norway Jump Challenge has a cash-price of $20,000. Registration is now open for skiers.

8th March 2005 Lake Crichton Pro-Am Tournament.

The results now available, with Jaret topping the jump and trick results with 8880 points and 66.2m. The wind was up high for most of the competition. Click here for all the results.


7th March 2005 Lake Crichton Pro-Am Tournament.

First blood this year for Kiwi Aaron Larkin who won the main slalom event after a run off with Chris Parrish, both scoring 3.00 @ 10.25m. Aaron also won the head to head.


6th March 2005 Here are some of the scores from the Lake Crichton Pro-Am Tournament. I think the conditions were not too favorable. Chris Parish leads the slalom after the first round from 3 in second place, Aaron Larkin, Kyle Eade and Jodi Fisher.

In the trick event Jaret leads with 9210 from Jason Seels with 8500 and Lance Green with 7850.


1st March 2005 This weekend will see the start of the pro events with Lake Crichton Pro-Am Waterski Tournament from Christchurch, New Zealand.

Attended by most of the pro skiers as they prepare for Moomba the following week. Prize money stands at $NZ 32,000.
