This weekend plays host to one of the Last 3 event Record competition of the season in the US. The crew out at Bennetts in Baton Rouge Louisiana have the site all dialled in for what is sure to be a great competition.
World under 21 Slalom Champion Ian Trapp is a local to this site and will be there in full force as he goes up against World no 1 Will Asher. In recent years Lake 2 at Bennetts has gained a favourable reputation within the slalom community as one of the south's premiere courses; and with the cooler fall water, we are sure to see a few scores on 41off/10.25m before the weekend is through.
In the jump event Ryan Dodd and an in form Ryan Fitts (if Connelly can ship out his new sticks in time) along with Tommy Asher Plus a whole host of 200+ jumpers.

BIG 2006 Success for Fisher Skis
Junior, Dauphin and under 21 European Championship titles and the most prestigious title during 2006, the World Cup Slalom series winner.
Recent speculation about the quality of the skis prompted me to get in touch with all concerned.
Today I spoke to Jodi about the skis, Jodi skiing on a Fischer won the world Cup stop in Russia, was the runner up in Northern Ireland, giving him the series win for 2006. Jodi told me,
"I have used the ski and fin all season and I have had no problems what so ever, I think if anyone was going to put the ski and fin through it's paces, I have this year!
As far as I am aware Fischer had 2 fin blades that have bent on test skis. They are using a stronger material on the production fins and they have not had any problems with sold equipment.
They have changed to a thicker material used to make the wings, because some screws had stripped in them."
I am still awaiting a response from Fischer and Schnitz
This weekend Nicole Arthur from Scotland set a new British under 21 record with 1.00 @ 10.75m during her first year on her Fischer.
I spoke to Nicole and she is really excited about the ski and has now set her sights on capturing the British Open and European Open Slalom records during 2007.
Nicoles performances this year have now moved her into fourth place on the EAME rankings list.

Sesena's International Slalom 2006
Once again the premier site in Spain provides the setting for new records and loads of personal bests.
So many of the 40 plus skiers over three rounds produced a personal best or came within a few buoys of it.
Ricardo Botas and his family have spent the last few years developing the Sesena Training Centre near Toledo into what will be on completion, the best ski site in the world!
They have transformed the lake into two perfect arenas with co-operation from companies extracting the gravel and sand.
