2nd EAME Coaching Seminar in Lisbon EAME's Coaching Commission completed its 2nd Coaching Seminar in Lisbon last weekend (27th-30th March) with all attendees being awarded the achievement level in the exam. Hosted by the Portuguese Federation the seminar covered both the technical aspects of the sport as well as holistic approach to coaching which is relied on so much by today's successful coaches. The seminar was conducted by Commission members John Wood and Jean Michel Cau who delivered the programme over 3 days. John Wood said, "The standard of knowledge was very high, as displayed with some excellent exam results. The coaches were all very attentive and the facilities provided by the Portuguese Federation provided an excellent learning environment". It is hoped that the Portuguese Federation will now be furthering their approaches to establish a coach education and assessment process in the country that so successfully hosted the 2001 European Under 21 Championships.
