CHEVY TRUCKS / GM VORTEC ENGINES TO SPONSOR PRESTIGIOUS MASTERS WATERSKI & WAKEBOARD TOURNAMENT
ORLANDO, FL - January 31, 2002, Tournament Ski Productions, Inc., reports today that Chevrolet Trucks and GM Vortec
Engines have inked an agreement with Correct Craft, Inc. (parent of TSP) which includes the presenting sponsorship position
of its celebrated Masters Waterski and Wakeboard Tournament over the next three years.
Masters tournament director, Larry Meddock said, "This is exciting news and we are so pleased to have Chevy Trucks
and GM Vortec Engines present the world's most prestigious waterski tournament. Chevy Trucks and GM Vortec will bring even
more prestige and exhilaration to this highly successful tournament."
Waterskiers and wakeboarders, representing the highest level of watersports competition and innovation, anxiously await the
announcement March 1st of invitees to the 43rd Masters, May 24, 25, and 26, 2002 at Callaway Gardens, Pine Mountain, Ga.
These elite athletes come by time-honored invitation and will compete in slalom, ski fly, tricks and wakeboarding for a share
of the record-breaking $160,000-plus in cash and prizes, making this the richest purse ever for waterskiing and/or wakeboarding.
