Totally Web-based
Barefoot Video Tournament

The barefoot season is quickly winding down here in the United States, but it's just beginning for the footers in countries like Australia, South Africa and New Zealand.  Instead of waiting until next spring to try out this new idea, we thought this would be a great time to invite footers from around the world to participate in the 1st totally web based International Barefoot Tournament.

 

If you're from Australia, and have never had the opportunity to travel to the US to compete with fellow footers in your division, this is your chance.  You don't have to be a world class footer to make it on this virtual trip to the US.  We've set the cost as low as possible (just $25 US) to entice as many of you as possible.

 

Instead of giving out plastic trophies and such, your $25.00 will be used to purchase cool gear such as Barefoot suits, shorts, handles and Ropes.  Once the results are final, we will conduct the 1st ever virtual raffle drawing.  Every skier will be assigned 5 raffle numbers.  We will then grab an unsuspecting (honest looking) child and have them draw those numbers from a hat.  We'll video-tape each drawing and post it to the web so you don't think we cheated.  BarefootCentral family members will not be eligible to win. 

 

What this will do is give every skier an equal chance of winning a cool prize.  The winners of the tournament will get to keep their videos on BareFootCentral.com until the next tournament (approx 4 months).  We will also mail you a cool certificate that you can have framed and put on your wall.

 

The Grand Prize will be a week of training at Mike Siepel's Barefoot International Ski School in West Palm Beach, Fla.  Sorry, no plane fair, but if you win the prize and can't get to the US, you can always donate it or sell it to another footer.
