John Battleday (Thorpe Park, London, England) Ski have teamed up with Playstation Skatepark to bring you an action packed day of Wakeboarding and Skateboarding on Saturday 20th July 2002. On the cable lake the obstacles will include modified old favourites like the VW Beetle slider and many new additions - promising to be the highest, longest and largest on the planet. The addition of skateboarding will bring demos on the midi ramp throughout the day with a competition at 3.00pm and there will be a 600FT RNIB Charity Zip Slide for anyone wishing to test their head for heights. The floodlit slider comp finals will hit the water at 9.00pm featuring international wakeboard stars and the UK's best riders. After the competition LCI will be giving a light and laser show to bring the event to a spectacular climax and lead into the after show party.
